what is my london diary?
a record of my day to day wanderings in and around london, camera in hand
among the places and events i photographed in 2001 were the new year parade in westminster, mortlake, wembley, staines moor, spelthorne, richmond, isleworth, hackney wick, the chinese new year in soho, egham, wraysbury, the colne, dartford, crossways, stone, greenhithe, of course the city itself, the thames, old ford, the lea, the free tibet march, the boat race in putney, bermondsey national front march, southwark, cricket with shepperton ladies, bermondsey and new addington carnivals, stoke newington festival, kennington, brixton, hyde park, hare krishna, a bus leaving for genoa from trafalgar square, soho waiters race, demonstrators at the american embassy in mayfair and buckingham palace, the respect TUC festival in finsbury park, another demo on kyoto and the environment, protests at the italian embassy over the death in genoa, hayling island carnival (hitler and elvis werr both there), weston-super-mare, lille, notting hill carnival, brick lane festival in spitalfields, greenwich, waltham abbey, protests against the forthcoming war against iraq, oxford street, trade justice demonstrators, greenwich, clerkenwell, and a few other things when i get the colour work sorted, including the gay pride march.
and some of my comments which may be related to these - or not
things i've found and perhaps things people tell me.
if I really knew what this site was i wouldn't bother to write it.
