Austerity Games on Hackney Marshes

 The opening event was simply a couple of speeches. It cost less than Danny Boyle

 

 The starting pistol about to be fired (the bankers went off well before the pistol shot)

 Applause for the winner

 The Defecit Discus had a picture of Cameron on it
      
 
 
The medal ceremony was a little simpler than down the road 

A winner makes a speech 

while a silver medalist listens
