'African Lives Matter - Hands off Africa'. There were large protests
about Libyan slave markets last year, but
the issue has dropped from the news. Refugees in Libya are still facing
danger, and the EU has made deals
and set up patrols to stop people coming to Europe
Refugees in Libya need protection - but the UK and EU are more
concerned with keeping them out of Europe
'UNHCR Protect Refugees in Libya'
People get ready to march from Europa House
and go past Parliament
to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
where there were more speeches
'Fortress Europe Kills Lives' 'Cancel
Khartoum Process'
'Evacuate Refugees from Libya'
The march moved on, stopping briefly at Downing St
and then continuing on its route to the Libyan Embassy, but I left it at
Trafalgar Square.
