Free Political Prisoners in Iran

The Worker-Communist Party of Iran - Hekmatist are protesting in Trafalgar
Square
in solidarity with the workers' struggle in Iran and calling for all
political prisoners there to be freed
Earlier this year there were many protests in towns and cities in
Iran
and these were followed by mass arrests. Plotting to overthrow the
Islamic regime and political dissidence are
amonfg the many crimes punishable by execution in Iran, and some have
been executed. Others still face that risk
The protest also called for an end to capital punishment in Iran,
which has the highest per capita rate of official
executions of any country in the world, carrying out between 500 and
1000 every year in recent years.
