IWGB at London University Founders Day

Senate House, London. Tue 20 Nov 2018

The IWGB arrive with banners a flags and a bicycle hauled sound system to protest at the entrance to Senate House

and they hand out flags and placards

 and the protest begins

'Bring Us In-House' - outsourcing is always a terrible deal for workers, with rock-bottom conditions of service

poor pay and often terrible management. A woman holds a poster 'If Outsourcing is so great Outsource Management'

'One University One workforce' states an IWGB banner

IWGB President Henry Chango Lopez blows a vuvuzela

and so do many others at the protest

which is extremely noisy so it can be heard by those inside Senate House

The drummers also make themselves heard

Protesters form a line which those attending the Foundation event have to walk along

 Henry Chango Lopez

Police keep a way open for people to enter the event

 Henry Chango Lopez speaks

The protesters bring out a very long length of red cloth, and hold it as a banner in front of the entrance

 It really is long.....

 'Women United Never Defeated'

 It really was long....

'One University - One Workforce - IWGB'

Security roll up the banner and lift it up so that people can duck under it...

More people arrive and wonder how to get into Senate House

 'University of Exploitation'

The protesters went to the Russell Square entrance to protest as well

After a few minutes here by Stewart House they returned back to continue protesting on Malet St and I left
