Anti-fascists had gathered south of the river to march across Westminster
Bridge to the protest
several set off smoke flares as the Stand Up to Racism march passed
them
One was wearing a plastic toy police helmet
At left a right wing protester attacks a man by the protest.
she screams insults at the anti-fascists
along with another woman. I think they were part of a group that had
been drinking in the Red Lion pub a few yards away
The anti-fascists don't look too concerned
and shout back
eventually some of them march on into Parliament St, and block it
at the edge of Parliament Square
'Trump The Killer of Human Rights'
'Immigration is not a crime'
A few right wing men watch and take picutres from the street corner
Police try to control some of the extreme right protesters
Two men are fighting
and police grab both of them
I see one being handcuffed
A larger group of football hooligans is on the other side of a police
line across Bridge St
Back in Parliament St, the anti-fascist marchers and friends stand
quietly
including the 'Blake Bloc' with a great banner
Some of the Antifa have masks and hold a banner in front of them
Police talk with some of the right-wing protesters and ask them to
leave
There are still some tourists wandering around the area, and some take the
opportunity to be photographed with the police horses
