Abortion Rights in Northern Ireland Now
Parliament Square, London. Mon 5 Jun 2018
Protesters gather in Parliament Square, calling for Northern Ireland
to get a similar change in the law to that
demanded by the recent referendum in Ireland, where roughly two thirds
voted to allow abortion. Opinion polls
suggest the there is even greater support for legal abortion in Northern
Ireland, although the DUP are against it.
