'This is OUR community land give to us Grove ordinary people ... No
Prep Needed, No Pret-A Manger wanted'
This was the third night running of protests outside Pret. Most of
those taking part live locally so it isn't far to go
and they intend to keep up the protests.
The bugle made a loud noise if not always a predictable note
A poster points out there are 12 good primary schools already in the
area and an expensive prep school isn't needed
Councillor Rock Feilding Mellen went into hiding after his disgrace
over the Grenfell cladding which made the
fire a disaster, moving out of the area to a Chelsea flat and the
family castle
'G K Chesterton, The Napoleon of Notting Hill,- would not like this
at all, this is OUR Land! Westway 23' ' NO Pret NO Prep - this is theft
of community space'
The tambourine and bugle certainly added to the noise but didn't make
this a musical protest!
and they were joined by many loud voices
The area is a busy one with many people walking past on both sides
of the road
