Equal Rights & Justice for Palestine

US Embassy and Oxford St, London.Sat 4 Nov 2017

THe UK is cleebrating the Balfour declaration, but it should be apologising for what was a shameful interference

by a then major power anxious to consolidate its interests in the area.

The declaration plays lipservice to the interests of the Palestinians, but this has never been taken seriously

and no Palestinians were consulted during the drawing up of the declaration - for which the UK government

apologised in 1939 - presumably because that then suited our interests.
