Zimbabwe democracy vigil celebrates 15 years

I've been to the vigil a few times, and seen it as I walked past or
was on a bus, but hadn't realised it had been going for 15 years
Peter Tatchell had been in at the start, and his foundation had issued
a press release for the anniversary
and he came with posters. One reads 'Mugabe is a torturer Arrest Mugabe!'
and he tried to do just that in 2001
and was badly beaten by security guards.

Most of those at the vigil are from Zimbabwe, but others are supporters
from the UK and around the world
Someone has made and iced a cake with the Zimbabwe flag and the number
15 on it
and we are all waiting for it to be cut
and people take photographs
The cake is taken away to be cut into small pieces so everyone can
eat some

I'd eaten the cake but was saving the icing to the last when I decided
to photograph it
