No NHS immigration checks

I began with the 'Migrants Welcome' block in Victoria Embankment Gardens
where ACTUP London were one of the groups taking part

People handed out flowers to marchers who had not brought them
Anna from Movement for Justice who had brought their PA system and
led the march with it
The marched towards Westminster Bridge
and across it
meeting up with the other protesters to walk across into the grounds
of St Thomas' Hospital
'#Patients Not Passports'
The marchers went to the area in front of the monument to Mary Seacole
where they held a rally
'Docs Not Cops' have been protesting against having to check immigration
status since it was first mooted
People were invited to write their own slogans onto giant hands 'No
Racist Passport Checks'
'No to systemic racism in the NHS'
'No Human Suffereing' 'Keep your racism out of my womb'
'Healthcare is a human right'
'Borders Kill'
A small group get ready to raise a large banner in front of the protest
