UK Arms dealers tell us how great they are
and how much gold they make
selling UK arms to dubious regimes. The UK is the world's 2nd largest
arms seller
and they show off the Eurofighter Typhoon
Who struts on the catwalk
Next comes the Paveway IV Missile
which sets off on a long guided path
before collapsing on the catwalk
This performance hasn't been widely advertised and the audience is
small, but later performances are in more crowded areas
An arms deal is made and a deposit handed over to the UK manufacturer.
But if the overseas buyer changes
her mind then UK arms manufacturers don't have to bother - the UK
taxpayers will pay them instead
The final weapon on the catwalk is CS gas, widely used to put down
political dissent around the world
but once unleashed it can
sometimes blow the wrong way....
I had to rush away as the cast took their bows at the end of the performance.
