Finally the third protester is freed from the case her arm was fixed
in
and again lifted up and carried to the van
It has taken police several hours to free the three protesters
and now they have two more to deal with
People watch them and applaud through the fence
and a woman on a mobility scooter tries to go through the gate but
is turned back by police
I retrun to the East gate to find another pair locked together
The special unit are taking a break - and have the pair at the West
gate to deal with, so these people will have
a long wait. Police just stand around, having arrested them they cannot
yet move them
London WILPF with a banner and a row of cofiins on the blocked road
People stand on the road with durms and banners and windmills
or sit down and talk
THe action has been succesful in blocking both gates for some hours - though
quite a few arrests have been made
I decide it's time to leave.
