DPAC/RMT 'Right to Ride' protest

Dept of Transport, London. Thu 20 Jul 2017

Ellen Lebethe of London Region National Pensioners Convention

Paula Peters shouts calling for someone in the Transport Ministry to come out to take their petition - they had been

told someone would come but were kept waiting... and waiting

Eventually a woman did come out and accepted it

At the end of the protest, DPAC moved onto the road at the nearby traffic lights

and came back up the road to block it in front of the Ministry of Transport

 where others joined them

Police tried to move them, then directed traffic around using one lane of the road

Quite a long queue of traffic built up before Paula Peters decided DPAC had made their point after around 10 minutes
