People look for the EDL protest
which is gathering inside and outside a pub in Whitehall

People walk past the EDL outside the pub
some look disgusted and a few shout abuse
Police hand out the instructions imposed under Section 12 and 14 of
the Public Order Act, 1986
and a man in an EDL Northwest shirt holds them up for photographers
A man raises a fist
and leads the EDLin some chanting
And they begin to move off, surrounded by police
going towards the official start of the march at Charing Cross
some others have gathered there including a woman who tells me I can't
take her picture
and police lead them down a side street towards the Embankment where
they are to have a rally
I leave them at this point to go to London Bridge.
