Vigil against Terror fills Trafalgar Square

London. Thu 23 Mar 2017

Londoners have come to Trafalgar Square the day after the outrage on Westminster Brdige

They fill up the square, and there were speeches from the Mayor and others

A police commander in the crowd

 and a police Deputy Lieutenant

Some have brought placards calling for peace, unity & harmony - there is no strength without unity

Muslim Aid with a banner based on the Underground logo and the message 'We Are Not Afraid'

'#HopeNotHate' sticker also uses the Underground logo

People in the crow light candles

A Union Flage with the message 'Strong Proud London Free Alive'

 Some had brought flowers

Muslim group banners with the message 'Love For All - Hatred For None'

Candles were lit and placed at each side of the square

and people laid flowers and lit small candles around the three large ones at the top of the steps
