Climate Crisis rally against Airport Expansion
Heathrow, London. Sat 19 Nov 2016
Tracy has been was a leading campaigner against a third runway when we fought
from 2003-9
and she is now a barmaid at the Three Magpies
Runner Beans NOT Runways. Grow Heathrow has been going for years now
at Sipson
The rally took place at the side of the Bath Road (A4) which would
need to be diverted for the 3rd runway
The proposed A4 diversion would have serious local environmental issues
(as well as excessive pollution levels)
A third runway would also affect the M25, and construction might result
in lengthy closures
