Human Rights for Refugees

Trafalgar Square, London. Sat 27 Aug 2016

This retired Nurse/MIdwife has linked up with a Syrian family, now scattered between Turkey, Greece and Germany

 People prepare for the protest

Carol uses the entertainer's microphone to tell him that the plight of refugees is far more important than his act

a man waits in a small space cleared between the posters to make his run-up

and leaps over the crouching tourists at the finale of the act

'Refugees Welcome Here'. Although teh protest was supported by a number of groups, most of those who

actually came were from the Syria Solidarity Campaign, including a number of Syrians

A large banner urges that the UK 'enact Dubs Now' and let in the 675 unaccompanied Children among the 90000 in the Calais camp

Posters are taped tto the ground, but one has already blown free at the right
