Unethical London Hotels Slammed

South Bank, London. Tue 23 Aug 2016

'If I had the choice I'd stay in an ethical hotel!'

'I insist on an ethical hotel'

London Eye secuirty tell us they own this part of the public walkway and protests are not allowed'

'The protesters tell her they are only meeting here and are going elsewhere, but she tells them they cannot have placards
or banners, and tells me I cannot take photographs. The campaigners move on to Jubilee Gardens, which

we all think is a public open space for the launch photographs of the 'Unethical London' report

  The 'Unethical London ' report

There are banners 'Black Lives Matter' and for solidarity with migrants akibg with the Unite flags

many hotel and hospitality workers are migrant workers, many are black

Ewa behind the banner

'London Hotels - 5* for guests 0* for ethics'

As the photographs finish and the campaigners start to move away

they are harassed by several from the private security 'South Bank Patrol'

Jubilee Gardens is now longer public but apparently privately owned by the Jubilee Gardens Trust
