March to Save Lambeth's Libraries

Herne Hill, London. Sat 9 Apr 2016

Book placards on the march included 'The Book Thief' and 'The Silence of the Lambs'

 Socialist Party banner

The march paused at Loughborough Junction while police ensured the road ahead was clear of traffic

and the Library occupiers organised a 'Mexican Wave'

Finaly police were happy and the march moved on, past

a commercial building which had a sign about squatting 'If it was good enough for Olive Morris it's good enough for US!!!'

The march waits to cross a road junction

I left the march here as it moved on the the Minet library and a rally at Brixton
