Belper - World Heritage Site

 Derby Rd - Grade II listed former FUCHS Lubricants site - the home of Swarfega - they are now at Stoke on Trent

 Fuch's closed its Belper Silkolene oil refinery in 2000. Probably this will be converted into a hotel
 
Brook Cottage, possibly one of the oldest buildings in Belper

The Congregational church became too dangerous to use in 1981 but was saved from demolition and converted to residential use 

Unitarian Chapel on Field Row founded in 1788 by Jedediah Strutt, 

Short Row; Jedidiah Strutt 's first workers cottages bult around 1790 

 

Long Row, Strutt's second and larger range of workers' cottages dates from around 1790.
They have an unusual interlocking floor plan.
