Staines & Wraysbury Walk

 45 – 55 Church Street - mid 19th century builidngs in Staines

 Duncroft Manor, Staines dates from 1631. It became an approved school for girls in 1945.
Jimmy Savile carried out 46 sexual assaults on 22 pupils and one visitor here. Now private flats.

 The Windsor to Staines railway line

 Wraysbury Reservoir

 Gravel pit at Wraysbury

 

 Colne Brook brings water from the River Colne at Uxbridge and via the Wraysbury River and Poyle Channel from Poyle

 There was a much larger bridge here once, now only a footbridge

 A gravel barge left on the edge of the main lake. Part is used for fishing and part by sailing clubs
