End BP's British Museum Greenwashing

British Museum, London. Sun20 Dec 2015

 Thanks Neil - and farewell

The BP execs go on to plan how they will

"befriend and bribe" the new director, Hartwig Fischer, with corporate hospitality - by BP, the World's Biggest

corporate criminal - opera visits, lavish dinner parties,  "Opening nights! … VIP Previews! … Exhibitions! … Screenings! … Drinks!"

Before the final song to the tune of 'Old Lang Syne' 'For all the OIL and lies, my dears, For all the OIL and lies,

'We gave a tiny sum of cash, Meanwhile the planet dies!' . They cleared up and paraded out with the banners to the foyer

where they also sang and spoke about BP's use of the arts as a cover for their crimes against the environment

'Art for People - Not Profit'

'End Oil Sponsorship' the BP-or-not-BP.org banner

Outside on the dark portico of the British Museum they posed for photographs with their three banners

Under a giant poster with the BP logo for 'The BP exhibition Sunkine cities Egypt's lost worlds'

and then performed the playlet again

with thanks to Neil MacGregor and another drunken party

And 'Auld Lang Syne' and other oily songs before leaving for a post-mortem on the protest elsewhere.
