 People bring balloons to the fence  and take them to the top of the fence     The crowd stands on the hill in late winter afternoon sun  as I leave while the protest is still continuing  and make my way along the footpath - here the end of a byway  back to the road. On the other side is a very large field and though it's sunny, a cold wind blows across it. |
