	'I am Edna' - protect whistle-blowers Downing St, London. Wed 27 May 2015
	People had come to Whitehall at Downing St to show support for whistle-blowers They had been granted permission for a brief protest here, but were not allowed to use a megaphone or hand out leaflets Most had posters with the message 'I am Edna' But there were others 'I don't recognise this government or its laws/lies' Edna was a defenceless elderly lady who died after terrible abuse in a BUPA care home - after whistleblowers had reported appropriately what was happening. They lost their jobs and the abuse continued for 4 years after their report.
	A woman came with pictures of her late husband, who died from maltreatment in hospital despite her attempts to complain and save his life Eileen Chubb, founder and Director of Compassion in Care and a former care worker who witnessed defenceless elderly people being abused and blew the whistle.
