Cyclists Die-in for Moira Gemmill

Lambeth Bridge, London. Mon 20 Apr 2015

  
 
 After police had halted all traffic, the banner with crosses was carried onto the roadway

 and people moved into place with their bikes, all around the roundabout

 

 The flowers, posters and ghost bike were moved onto the banner

 and the silent die-in began

 Lighted candles and more flowers on the roadway in memory of Moira Gemmill, killed here on April 9th

 The die-in stretched all around the roundabout where the bridge meets Millbank and Horseferry Rd

 

 

 
 
 

 

 

 

Donnachadh McCarthy gets up to announce an end to the die-in 

 

and people begin to get up and move away
