Democracy Camp - A Poet Arrested

Parliament Square, London. Wed 22 Oct 2014

When I got back to Westminster later on, people were showing posters to the passing traffic

 and holding a workship session.

Though a few were catching a bit of sleep

A police officer stood watching the workshop, trying to be inconspicuous

There was a man with a fracking rig on his head

and Danny the PlinthGuy was still up there - now for over 25 hours

The leader of the police climbing team came to talk to PlinthGuy, who said he would not resist if they came to take him down peacefully

Still on the plinth after almost 26 hours. I had to leave before the police turned
up with a ladder to bring him down.
