Class War Poor Doors Week 10

One Commercial St, Aldgate, London. Wed 1 Oct 2014

Finally it's three inside against two outside and the door is closed

and when a protester tries to put a foot in the door later, another boot pushes it out

Ian Bone leads some of those at the protest to see the dark and dirty alley where the poor door is

and one one the Redrow staff goes round inside the building to watch. A few weeks ago another member

of staff told me there was no internal connection between the two parts of the building. If this guy can do it, so could
the tenants who now have to use the door in the alley.

Ian Bone and Jane Nicholl prepare to offer the vases at the rich door

They call out and show them at the rich door

But the staff inside just smile and one walks away

But a few minutes later, as they let in a resident, Jane thrusts a vase into the face of the Building manager and he grabs hold of it without thinking

Another little struggle to keep the rich door open

and this time the Building Manager gets it closed but is left outside

a Police officer comes over

followed by others who now surround the door

But one vase is inside
