 Mill Green Museum

 where we had afternoon tea

The mill owner apparently locked up the mill one day in 1911, put the keys through the letter box and went to Australia

  - and we took some flour home to make bread. This undershot wheel powers the mill

Unfortunately the Green Man was rather closed

The viaduct in Old Hatfield leads to Hatfield House from opposite the railway station

This gateway leads to the viaduct and on to Hatfield House,
We got a bus back to St Albans from a few yards down the road.
