The Bridge to the allotments, in an island between the River Lee and the Channelsea River. |
|||
The River Lee is tidal, and the water was fairly high. The bushes are in blossom - some is wild plum which apparently makes fine jam. Fray Bentos made pies and puddings in the factories to the right of the river. |
