Demonstrators were approached one by one, and asked for their details so that they might be sent a summons later. Those who refused were taken to the police station to be charged. Most gave there names and addresses and were then allowed to continue to demonstrate.

The police taking down details. There seemed to be little or no harassment of onlookers, press or other demonstrators while this was being done, other than the continual photography of those present.

Even that largely concentrated on the person being dealt with at the time (at right in viewfinder, with one of the legal observers also in the frame.)
