Against war crimes in Idlib

Russian Embassy, London. Sat 18 Jan 2019

The protesters were on the pavement opposite the Russian Embassy

Posters shows some of Assad's war crimes and called for Idlib to be saved

People are trapped in Idlib, with markets and hospitals being bombed by Assad and his Russian allies

Turkey has closed the border so people cannot cross into Turkey

A woman holds a poster on which she has written "My family in Idlib are farmers not "terrorists!' Putin! why are you

bombing their villages, their crops, their markets, their hospitals, their schools and maternity facilities?

 'Genocide and Ecocide'.

 A woman sits praying...

She shows me the picture she has painted, with devils getting at the oil, and Assad the donkey looking on.

The situation is desperate and the international community is failing to help the people trapped in Idlib
