SODEM (Stand of Defiance European Movement) continue their daily protests
outside Parliament
Brexit has turned into a nightmare, particularly as Theresa May's
government have failed to negotiate sensibly
People had come down from Yorkshire to join the protest against Brexit
Steven Bray, the founder of SODEM
A woman wearing a yellow hi-viz vest is one of a group that come regularly
to harass SODEM and the police
'Sick of Brexit - Just Cancel It'. Had the referendum been mandatory
it would have been made legally void
because of various irregularities. But it was only advisory.
More insults and complaints about the SODEM and the police
Steven Bray holds up a hand in front of his face as he is filmed
and the Brexiteer filming him
turns his camera to film me as I take pictures. Your'e welcome mate,
though I don't think I'm very interesting
Still filming me.
A rather sinister figure in black is filming too
The police who seem to be doing a reasonable job of allowing both
groups to protest without disorder come in
for more criticism. She says that they have failed to arrest Steven Bray
after he pushed someone. I'm not sure if
I saw the incident she was describing, but I did see several people deliberately
moving into his way as he walked
around. He did rather carefully move one of them aside.
The Yorkshire group asked Steven Bray to pose with them for photographs
A protester with a mask of the Queen and a poster 'You gave my people
a vote on the idea. Now give them a vote on the fact'
Police look fed up as the complaints continue
I've had enough and can go away. I feel sorry for the police who have to
stay.
