Capgemini Cleaners Demand Living Wage

Vauxhall, London. Wed 6 Mar 2013

The cleaners met at Vauxhall bus station

As well as getting low pay, the workers also complain of racism by their managers

And the management want to cut the number of workers, making some redundant as they think they could do more work

They work at Capgemeni, but they are managed by cleaning company ISS

Most of the cleaners were born in Latin America or Asia

To live in London you need more than minimum wage - the cleaners need the London Living Wage

And they demand to be treated with dignity 'We Ain't the Dirt we clean for you'

The cleaners move off to Capgemini, a couple of hundred yards away

And make a lot of noise to let everyone know they have arrived
