Let Charles Stay!

Taylor House, Roseberry Ave, London. Thursday 12 August 2010

NUJ General Secretary Jeremy Dear speaking.

Donnach DeLong also spoke to the picket - and at left Jeremy Dear photographs the event

Jeremy reads from Charles' letter and the statements of support

And we all wait to know the verdict - but it was some hours before we heard he had a temporary stay and bail

to prepare his case for Judicial Review. But if the campaign keeps up the pressure,
Teresa May could make a decision earlier. There seems little doubt that sending him back to Cameroon
would be a death sentence.
