	London Olympic Site Stratford / Hackney Wick / Canning Town. Thursday 4 Jan, 2007 Clays Lane is going to make way for the Olympic village
	Clays Lane, with Park Village estate to the right, already cleared of residents and empty and unused although not required for 2 years.
	London Development Agency (Lower Lea Valley, Olympic and Legacy) Compulsory Purchase Order 2005
	Clays Lane. The travellers on the site at left are to move to the middle of a park in Major Lane, which they and local residents feel is unsuitable.
		There seemd to be little chance of any success in stopping the Olympic Land Grab.
		There is considerable local opposition to the Olympics now that people realise what it will mean for them Local people, used to wandering over the Eastway Cycle track, now have just a small fenced off area at the east of the site left open to them.
