London Gardens

Finchley, Notting Hill and Chelsea, London. Saturday June 4, 2005

Bodies and parts of bodies abound in this sculpture garden in north London

I found this the most impressive of her works, but

there was much to see, and many works that were easy to miss.

Ferns and a grotto create an atmosphere in Notting Hill

It was a fine garden for talking and taking afternoon tea.

It was hard at times to believe we were so close to the centre of London.

George Carter (in jacket), whose book 'The New London Garden' inspired our visit, joined us for tea.
